This Sunday, we began the season of Advent. We celebrate in this season the long-awaited Messiah’s birth, yet we still anticipate His promised return.

Waiting on God is not easy when we have our own plans that don’t require any waiting.

“Have I not told you to be strong and courageous?”

When the hand is to the plow the path is straight. If the hand comes off the plow and the the farmer begins to look around the path is no longer straight. Jesus reminds us that the hand must remain on the plow to be fit for the Kingdom.

Starting a fire is often easy, but keeping a flame burning over time can prove a difficult task.

Can you share your faith in a way that is clear? Paul’s instruction was for followers of Christ to spend time in prayer and to ask for opportunity and speech that is clear.
